Saltbush Food Festival’s closing dinner seats three hundred people at a single table down the main street. Locals loved it, but most city visitors had never heard of it.
We made the table the hero. A short film followed one dinner from the first delivery of produce to the last guest leaving, and we pitched the growers and cooks behind it as stories in their own right.
Ahead of the festival we released the film in short cuts across social, backed by targeted paid posts in the city, and hosted travel writers for the weekend.
The dinner sold out in four days, and more than half of the tickets went to visitors from outside the region.
